Managers can add time off request records manually for a faculty/staff members for any reason, outside the approved workflow, if necessary. These records can be added from the Employment home page, one at a time. This is usually done for day of requests or even possibly back dating. (Backdating is not a recommend process, and should be avoided)


  1. In Axiom navigate to the Employment home page.  
  2. Choose the +Add drop down menu in the upper right corner of the page and select Add Time Off Request.
  3. Complete the Time Off Request Record. 
    1. Mandatory: Requester - Time Off Request Reason - Start Date - End Date - Time Off Amount - Assigned Person.
    2. Optional: Leave Time - Arrival Time - Request Notes - Review Notes.
       
  4. Click the green Add Time Off Request button when done, to create the record.
  5.  YOU ARE NOT DONE YET! You must now update the Request Status field. This can not be done till AFTER you created the record. In most cases you will just choose Accepted - Don't Email.
  6. Once you have dont that click the green Update button to save changes, and you are done. 



Note: All master attendance records for faculty and staff are created seven days in advance with the attendance status “present.”
