1. Download the zipped file to your Downloads folder (locally).
  2. Save the Truncation VC.cmd file attached to this article to your local computer. Run the file, by double clicking on it. A black box will appear scrolling file names then stop; when the black box disappears, it has finished.
  3. This process will have created a new file in your Downloads folder called Renamed_HSPT_Files. If you click into the folders you will see a list of pdf files, that now only contain the students name. 
  4. Now download the HSPT File Mapping Tempalte.xlsx Excel sheet attached to this article, to your local computer. Once download, open the Excel sheet. The first line will have a list of example data to view. 
  5. From the HSPT Tester file that is being kept by Admissions, go to the first tab that is for the main testing day. Copy the VC Person ID and VC Name Rows, than past it into the HSPT File Mapping Tempalte.xlsx Excel sheet under Person ID And Person Name. 
  6. Now go inside the Renamed_HSPT_Files folder in your Downloads, till you see all the PDF files. 
    1. Single click with your mouse on the first file.
    2. Then on your keyboard hit Control+A, and it will select all the files. 
    3. Then on any file hold the Shift key down and right clock on your mouse.
    4. Select Copy as path, from the dropdown list. 
    5. Go to the HSPT File Mapping Tempalte.xlsx Excel sheet, and place your cursor in cell A2 and paste. 
  7. Now go to cell B2, this is a formula, drag this formula all the way down to populate all the fields. 
  8. Now scan the file and make sure that the Filename matches with the Person Name. Make any changes that are necessary. 
  9. Next copy entire row of Filenames (Column B) from HSPT file Mapping Template Excel sheet.  In column Filename (Column A), right click and choose the option, Paste Values,  in Veracross-Mapping-file.csv.
  10. Copy entire row of Person ID (Column C) from HSPT file Mapping Template Excel sheet.  Paste in column record_id (Column B) in Veracross-Mapping-file.csv.
  11. In description in Veracross-Mapping-file.csv, in cell C2 enter the name "HSPT Scores", then drag to copy all the way down to the last file. 
  12.  Save the Veracross-Mapping-file.csv in the root of the unzipped files. 
  13. Navigate one level up from the PDF files, and right click on the folder. Go to Send to and then choose Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a new zipped file. 
  14. You can now go to Veracross and upload the files using the File Batch Upload. 
  15. Navigate to Rocket Ship > System > Batch Add (left column) > Add Files to Multiple People.
