Create event with:

  1. Athletic Event Type= Game, Game/MultiOpponent, Tournament

  2. Info about the event: Home/Away, location, contact person, etc.

    1. Description should fill in automatically if you enter opponent and home/away

  3. Team = team that is competing

  4. Class Departure Time = time students should be leaving class

  5. Class Attendance Status = Absent-Excused-Carmel


Go to the Event Attendance tab:

  1. Change Attendance Taken to Yes, Default to Invited

  2. Click Update

  3. For anyone not attending plus the coach, change the Attendance Status from Invited to Declined

  4. Click Update

  5. Click on the Action Menu (lightning bolt)

  6. Click on Update Student Attendance

  7. Click on the Update Student Attendance button and then close



**You can check that only the students who are going to the event are propagating to attendance by clicking on the Class Attendance tab.
