If you are appointed as a designated "approver" for one or more rooms/resources in the school, please follow these instructions.
All Carmel resources are now all listed in Veracross and can be reserved by Axiom users directly in Veracross. They can also be reserved directly from the Faculty/Staff portal. If approval is needed to reserve the room/resource, this is where you come in.
If someone requests a reservation in the system and you are the approver, you will get an automatic email asking you to approve/deny the request. Below are the steps to complete this process. Once you approve or deny, the requestor will receive an auto email informing them of your answer. If you would like to know what rooms/resources for which you are the approver, please let contact the Veracross Administrator.
When you receive an email to approve a request:
- Go to the Resource Scheduling homepage (by using the rocketship in the upper left hand corner).
- Click on the report "Reservations for Approval" in the center column.
- Click on the Reservation ID number that corresponds to the reservation request in your email to see the details of the request.
- To approve or deny the request, change the "Approval Status" field to the appropriate status by double clicking the cell and choosing the correct status. Then click Update Records to save.
- An email will automatically be sent to the requestor.
**NOTE: If the reservation is in conflict with another reservation, the "Conflict" checkbox will be selected on the General tab of the reservation detail screen, and the details of the conflicting reservation will be displayed on the Conflict tab. The conflict can be managed right on this record.
