Whatever day is set to the last day of the grading period will show on the calendar (School ends and Semester 2 Ends (US)) There is nothing we can do to change that. I did add the Last Day of School event, but I made it hidden from calendars so that we didn't have yet another instance of this.
Finally, I adjusted the First Day of School events for next year. The First Day of School has to be the first day that students (any students) must be in attendance. So, the First Day of School event has to be 8/9. I changed the event called First Day for Semester 1 Classes to an All School Event, rather than the functional First Day of School. We will eventually have to create four events for each of the orientation days based on who has school and who doesn't have school. There has to be one for each grade.
